What is a will?
A will is a legal document that gives direction concerning the disposition of your assets and payment of your final debts. A will can be modified as your life changes.

Why should I have a will?
  • You want to choose the beneficiaries of your possessions.
  • You want to choose who will serve as guardians for your minor children.
  • You want to choose who will serve as steward to your estate.
  • It can provide a means for tax savings.
What are my possessions?
  • Personal items such as jewelry, furniture, heirlooms, car.
  • Financial assets such as checking, savings, CDs, stocks, life insurance.
  • Retirement Funds including IRAs, 401Ks, SEPs, etc….
  • Real Estate including house, farm, vacation property, mineral rights.
